Yin Yoga helps to hydrate, lengthen and strengthen your connective tissue, for joint mobility, ease of movement and Qi circulation along the meridian lines and into the organs, leaving you calm and refreshed after a session.

 

Yin Yoga is an introspective, calming practice targeting the deep connective tissue (ligaments, tendons, fascia), Poses are held for a longer period of time, 3 minutes and upwards, mainly seated and reclined on the mat, 

​

These long holds and the stretching of the deep connective tissue support joint health and rid the body of toxins, trauma, blockages, stored emotions and pain. 

​

Focus is on the breath, relaxing the body, turning inward, observing the mind and the physical sensations while giving your joints some needed attention.
